ABOUT US

St. Paul's has been an integral part of the Warkworth community since its establishment in 1852 - 172 years!

Meyersburg (1941), Norham (1942), Oak Heights (1959), Dartford (1969) and Morganston (1995) churches have all amalgamated with St. Pauls.

What started in 1852 with Circuit Rider ministers has survived fire and flood, with a robust list of ministers, and a roster of members that continue to make up the fabric of Warkworth.

AFFIRM

Women’s Ministry

Women within the United Church have been forming UCW groups since the organization was formally inaugurated on January 1st, 1962 through the amalgamation of the Woman’s Missionary Society (WMS) and the Woman’s Association (WA).

Purpose

The purpose of the UCW of the congregation or pastoral charge is to unite women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.

Membership

Membership is open to any woman who is in sympathy with the Purpose and who is willing to contribute her prayers, gifts, and services for the work of the church in the world.

Volunteerism

Our UCW welcomes anyone’s contribution! For more information, please contact Janice Laver, UCW President.
